TN&Platex has 6 industrial complexes in La Rioja, Corrientes, Catamarca and Tucumán, where we have 6 spinning mills, 3 weaving mills, a garment manufacturing plant, a big bag plant and a hosiery and seamless plant; we also have quality laboratories in Chaco and Santiago del Estero; a distribution center in Tres de Febrero, province of Buenos Aires, where our Head Office and our Product Design and Development Center are located, in Vicente López.

The cornerstone of this factory, the first of the TN&Platex group, was laid in November 1979. From its origin to 2010, the initial production volume multiplied fourteen times. It is located in a strategic location for the group, since it is a tripartite point between Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay.

Hilados Cardados – Peinados
La Rioja 1, inaugurated in 94, is a model spinning mill, designed after a trip to 11 countries, visiting 40 spinning mills, which allowed the flow of raw materials to be optimal, with the necessary automation to obtain the best quality with volume. An extremely important plant for the development of our company, that was the beginning of the exponential leap that allowed us to grow to become the most important spinning mill in the southern hemisphere.

He joined the group in 2004, after the purchase in a judicial auction. Today the plant also has a laboratory plant, where new yarns are prepared and work is done on the quality and constant improvement of our productions, both in yarn and fabric.

He joined the group in 2007, after the purchase from the Karamanian family. In 2010, after the serious fire suffered two years ago, the plant reopened its doors. With technology at the forefront of the international industry, COTECA again produces OE yarns in the province of Catamarca.

He joined the group in 1996, after the purchase from La Plata Cereal. It has 4 production lines, which give it great industrial flexibility. In 2017 12 Mayer looms were set up and in the coming years the production of Fabric in this factory will increase considerably.

The TN&Platex Distribution Center, where the logistics of what is produced in the company’s plants is centralized, is located in Tres de Febrero, province of Buenos Aires. It has 3 warehouses of 6,000m2, all merchandise arrives palletized and is unloaded daily. The distribution center has the ability to deliver orders within 24 hours of receipt.

Quality controls start with the raw material, through the analysis of the samples sent by the suppliers, and go from visual and tactile control to determine the grade and character of the cotton, to objective measurements through the HVI equipment. of the values corresponding to the strength, elongation, thickness, length and content of impurities of the fiber. Strict controls throughout the entire process assure customers of the quality of the yarn.

Fifteen years after the construction of the Monte Caseros Plant to produce OE yarns, the group decided to add combed yarns to its product offering. To this end, in 1994 it built a factory in La Rioja with an initial capacity of 150 tons per month of combed yarn.
